Today I will show you how to make very delicious Italian meatballs There’s a million of different meatball recipes with different meats and #spicestotaste I’ll be making my favourite recipe the meatballs come out juicy, very tender and very delicious. we will bake them in the oven and then will cover with this great tomato sauce it’s very simple and always delicious. Try this recipe, it will be great Let me show you how! So let’s take a big pot or a bowl Throw in 500g of ground beef and 500g of ground pork Ideally you could grind your own meats… It will be even better Let’s add 100g of grated Parmesan You can use Parmesano or Pecorino, or your favourite hard cheese it will be delish add finely chopped medium onion and 1tsp oregano, and 1/2 tsp of each black pepper and salt add a handful of finely chopped parsley add 100g of bread crumbs and 100ml of milk it’s best to pre-soak bread crumbs in milk finally, add 1 egg and mix it well. Try not to over mix because the meat will clump up and will get tough. When it’s well mixed, start making big balls Don’t make small meatballs, they’re a PITA to make and they will dry in the oven and will be tough Make giant size or at least medium size balls If you want to just pan fry them, it’ll work just fine. Except why would you waste your time pan frying them when you have an oven… Alright, the meatballs are ready. Put them in the oven 20 minutes at 200c/400f In the meantime, let’s make sauce Open 2 cans of tomatoes into a bowl or a pot add 2-3 cloves of garlic a handful of fresh basil if you don’t have fresh, 1 tsp of dry basil will do 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 tsp of pepper, oregano and basil. I just noticed I put basil twice, fresh and dry. it was still very delicious obviously .. so make it how I tell you, not how I show it. now blend it well but not to a paste, leave small chunks for texture. and put the sauce on low heat to boil until the meatballs are ready. Boil spaghetti for 9 minutes. Do not overcook your pasta, there is nothing worse than overcooked pasta To serve, put some sauce on a pan add some pasta water This is important. This water will help us make our sauce thicker and velvety Boil spaghetti in the sauce for 1 minute max use a deep dish. Add tons of sauce because it’s delicious and you can top it with Parmesan or Pecorino or your favorite hard cheese.
