[ Music ]>>We have over 200
specimens here. Live auction and silent auction. We’ve got garden rocks,
petrified wood, fossils, minerals, rocks, just about anything anybody
could possibly want. It’s awesome. It’s great. [ Music ] We can’t, we can’t bring the
mountains into the classroom, so we’ve got to go the mountains and that requires transportation
costs and housing costs and food costs, and so, and
that’s on top of tuition, so it’s actually pretty
expensive to be a geology major, but we love it so much and the
geology club’s whole mission is to help defray some
of those, those costs. [ Music ] Obsidian, pyrite,
amethyst, fluoride, petrified wood, California
hardwood. We’ve got fossil fish, fossil
crinoids, fossil trilobites. We’ve got conglomerates and
sandstones, and [laughing]. [ Music ] We are so thankful to all of our
donors, our family, our friends, the local engineering
and geotechnical and geological community. The faculty and staff and the
alumni center, they are so great to us, and the entire Sacramento
community really comes out to support us and
we are so thankful. [ Music ]
