Working as a sales person is.. challenging. Moreover, if you’re working in a small city like me. When the market doesn’t really know about the product we’re selling. From visiting one merchant to another, Until visiting merchants that are mileeees away. I really did that, when I first joined Moka. Back then, our team wasn’t that big. We didn’t have a Marketing team that help to introduce Moka. And also, We didn’t have Technical Support team That can help to set-up printer when we have dealt with merchants. From finding prospective merchants, negotiation, dealing, up until setting up printer, I did every single thing by myself. Why do I want to do all of these? Because right here, we don’t just become a salesman who goes around looking for customers. But we also have ambitions to help businesses in Indonesia. To see them grow and develop with Moka. One of the things that really impressed me was.. there is 1 merchant who recommended me to other merchants, he said “just call Mba Moka” Apparently, they don’t know my real name! Until finally, when I came to them, They greeted me, “Oh ini toh Mba Moka” Seeing this as a big opportunity, I use it to strengthen Moka’s branding even more. Finally, I started to make content about Mba Moka on Instagram. My sales strategy, which initially only door-to-door method now reaching the online platform, too. I made all of these to make people are interested, and start to find out about Moka. Finally, many merchants who understand what Moka is who previously didn’t understand POS, now they can understand better. Who previously spent a lot of time in capturing transactions, now they can use it for more strategic matters. As a sales person, I love how every morning I woke up with excitement. To meet our merchants and empower their business to sell and grow. My name is Kinanti, and I’m a Sales Executive at Moka.
