Field Operations at Elastic | Sales – Jamie Monk
The more we can get to know the customer and work along side them, the better experience it’s going to be for them and we’re going to be able to ensure success. My name is Jamie, I work in sales here at
Elastic. The sales culture at Elastic is really collaborative. Our customer journey allows people
to be self-starters and a lot of times I’m engaging with people when they are already
using our Stack in their companies. With being such a disruptive technology we’re learning new things just from talking with our customers everyday. Being in a sales role, you sometimes forget
all the things that happen on the backend so it’s great to talk to other people in other
departments to understand what they are doing to help me and my role and how I can carry
that forward to our customers as well.
