Best thing for our greek friends, get out of monetary union. Ops, they tried, but ignored, I wonder why…Besides, from this documentary it seems like all Greek problems come from China. How about talking a bit about EU treaties, Mario Monti, Draghi, and IMF, and how the euro works? second one I watch, very incomplete and for this reason won´bother to subscribe, there is much, much better information on yt, this is throwing dust in people eyes. What do we need to learn friend? How to exploit the mass of our population for the benefit of an elite political and economic oligarchy like is the case in China? Maybe the Greek workers need to work 15 hours per day in horrible conditions in factories with bars on their windows and nets on the ground to stop the people from jumping off in their deprivation and sorrow like happens in China, so that apple can sell iphones to Americans? We don't have a country the size of China to render uninhabitable with industrial and chemical pollutants. We rather like our country and the Aegean Sea and believe it or not, we don't want Greeks to have to walk around with gasmasks looking at the crystal blue waters having become red and yellow with pollutants like in China. Mr.Chinese capitalist, go fuck yourself and take your parasitic environment destroying life sapping class with you. Reply Stavros Alithinos says: May 18, 2017 at 4:04 am The footage from Skouries (starting at 15:59) made me so angry. Because this Canadian company got the permission to dig there illegally. It digs in the middle of one of Greece's national forests, were endangered animals also live. Normally the constitution of Greece protects the forests, but this Canadian company somehow got a permission to destroy the forest. Because they have cut the trees there have been floods nearby. Reply Frozen Actor says: August 12, 2018 at 8:53 pm Greece took her power back! Development increased! Reply Alan Wilson says: October 3, 2018 at 10:38 pm One of the biggest misleading misnomers in this modern era of economic growth and progress is the correlation between investments and jobs. The locals are vandalizing your cars because on the one hand they envy the position you're in and on the other, they resent that they themselves don't have jobs but will not hesitate to go down to the beach and lay in the sun all day, then go drinking and eat out at a restaurant in the evening and this is done even though they are unemployed. So although hundreds of millions are invested in the mine, very few if any jobs are available to the greater general population which creates even more push back by a struggling proletariat. I got the sense of a disconnect between on the one hand, the chinese manager who was saying he did not think that greeks were lazy, yet I could see he was looking over the beach goers with a sense of disgust and anxiety. Like, how in the fuck all hell are these people so relaxed when their country is in dire straits. We have that here too in the U.S. and if you noticed the fat overweight kid decked out with head phones calling out to his friend, didn't have a care in the world about his future or the future of his country, it's someone else's problem, not mine. I'm fat, dumb, happy and spoiled, living in my parents basement playing video games and as long as I'm being fed, all is well kind of attitude. Those textile and metal punching factories are no longer up to date and cannot out produce product as efficiently as factories overseas, they are also competing against cheap asian labor, automation, computerization and robotics. The son who was more interested in playing the stock market knew that that was and is the future of money, business and the means of production. He had his fingers on the pulse of The New Commanding Heights, and did not want to struggle to keep a dying dinosaur alive any longer. The former employees standing outside in the hot sun are wasting their time, money and resources. It is triply sad though to see even highly skilled and educated people like the engineer and the electrician unable to find viable employment. The world is changing with relentless and merciless speed and those who are unprepared will simply be left on the sidelines to be idle and to perish. We're all on our own and need to take responsibility for ourselves, our lives and our families or be faced with the specter of poverty or even extreme poverty. If they will change this, what else have they changed? Reply Quin Rose says: November 16, 2019 at 3:28 am Beware…I think the Chinese want to "help themselves to Greece". Keep Greece for "ransom" after they build what they want to build but the Greeks are unable to pay for it in €, and will be so desperate that they end up trading Chinese goods and services for land etc. or stripping them of their valuable mineral resources. China has been greedily hoarding the world's rare minerals and resources for years and building powerful computers with the minerals which have now become rare in the western world. Thereby crippling the western world from being able to create our own computers…powerful computers=global power. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
